More Beaches

We went to a number of different beaches. All of them were mesmerizing, and each one possessed a different characteristic that made it unique. Although I could not picture actually getting married at any of these places, (inconveniences as mentioned in previous posts) I could definitely see myself spending a day relaxing and enjoying each one. Most of these beaches would be wonderful for engagement photos or just a fun day out in the sun! I know a lot of people have not been to California or have seen some of these places so I thought I would share some of the photos I captured in hopes to portray the beauty of each one I was able to experience. Special thanks to my cousin, Matt, for driving me around Southern Orange County to experience these lovely coastlines. Also to my brother, Steven, for sacrificing his Friday night to "do wedding stuff" with his big sister.

Laguna Bay Park, Dana Point

This was the next location we looked at. Laguna Bay Park is a little higher up from the water but it still has an ocean view. In fact, there was a couple taking wedding pictures when we were looking around. The neat thing about this park is that it sits right in front of a Marriott Resort. Parking could still be an issue, but if people stay at the Marriott then it wouldn't be as big as an issue. There are actually 2 lawns...the first lawn (first picture) has a better ocean view.

Heritage Park, Dana Point

This is a park in Dana Point that I looked at. So far....its the best one I like. It has a huge grass area with plenty of sidewalk throughout that you can reserve through the city. The grass has 2 or 3 levels where you can set up chairs and the ceremony site. The site overlooks the ocean and Dana Point Harbor. Its a really beautiful view with the water and all the masts from the ships behind it. At the top of the grass area and to the right is a little platform with a compass that has an even better view of the harbor. Very close there are 2 restaurants that we can try and reserve for the reception. Downfalls: The restaurants could be very expensive to reserve at night, so we might have to do an early ceremony and a lunch. Also, there could be limited parking and no where to get ready, so we could be paying for transportation and shuttling there also. My cousin just photographed a wedding there recently, so I included that picture as well.
